This Privacy Policy explains how Fusion Network ("Fusion Network," "BizyFi," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information through bizyfi.com and its related tools, the Apply flow, and the BizyFi Directory (together, the "Platform"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service. BizyFi serves businesses seeking commercial financing; it is not intended for personal, family, or household credit, or for children under 18.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Financing inquiries (Apply flow). Your name, email address, and phone number; your business's name, state, industry, and similar details; and the financing you are looking for, such as the amount, product, and use of proceeds, along with information such as ownership percentage and credit indicators you choose to provide. We also record your consent choices, including whether you agreed to receive text messages.
- Directory viewer accounts. Your email address, the version of our Terms you accepted and when, and when you verified your email.
- Directory reports and requests. If you report a listing or ask us to correct or remove one, the details you send and, if you provide it, your email address.
- Messages to us. Whatever you include when you email or call us.
Information collected automatically
- Site analytics. See section 6.
- Sign-in cookie. When you sign in to a Directory viewer account, we set one cookie, which holds your email address and an expiry date and is cryptographically signed so it can't be forged. It keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is marked HttpOnly and Secure and is used for nothing else. Signing out deletes it.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider processes technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Information from other sources
The BizyFi Directory lists businesses, not consumers. Listings are compiled from public records (for example, SEC filings), companies' own websites, and our own research. Listing details, such as a company's name, address, and website, are business information about the company. They may name a person only where that person appears in a public business filing.
2. How we use information
- to evaluate your financing inquiry, match it with lenders and other financing providers, and follow up with you about it;
- to create and run your Directory viewer account, including sending sign-in links and showing account-holder details;
- to review and act on Directory reports and correction or removal requests;
- to operate, secure, and improve the Platform, including measuring which pages and tools are useful;
- to comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
3. How we share information
- With lenders and financing providers, when you submit a financing inquiry, so they can review it and respond. They handle it under their own privacy policies.
- With service providers that host, store, and send information for us under confidentiality obligations. Today these are Cloudflare (hosting, email delivery, and analytics storage) and Supabase (our database).
- For legal reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share your mobile phone number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
4. Text messages
If you opt in, we may text you about your financing inquiry at the number you gave us. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of any service.
5. Directory accounts: what account holders see
Anyone can browse the Directory and see each listing's state and industry. Signed-in viewer account holders can also see a listing's company name, city, street address, ZIP code, website, and summaries of public SEC filings. We do not show one viewer's account details to other viewers or to listed companies.
6. Site analytics
We measure how the Platform is used so we can improve it. We run this measurement ourselves and do not use third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
- What we record when you visit a page: the page you viewed and the actions you take on it (for example, which calculator you opened or which steps of the Apply flow you completed), the website that referred you (the site name only), any campaign tags in the link (for example,
utm_source), the time, the type of device (desktop, tablet, or mobile), and whether the request looks automated. - Network and approximate location: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, tells us the approximate location of each request (country, region, and city) and the organization that operates the network it came from, such as an internet provider or a company's own network. We use this to understand which regions and organizations are interested in BizyFi. It identifies a network, not a person. We do not store your IP address.
- A random browser identifier: your browser stores a random identifier in local storage, so we can count repeat visits without double-counting. It is not linked to your name, email address, or a financing inquiry. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- Your privacy signals are honored: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we record only an anonymous page count, with no browser identifier, city, or network organization.
- Calculator figures you enter are processed in your browser and are not sent to us unless you submit them through the Apply flow.
We don't sell analytics data or share it with advertisers. Only BizyFi staff can see it, on a private, access-controlled dashboard.
7. Retention
We keep financing inquiries for as long as needed to work on them and meet our business, legal, and record-keeping obligations. We keep Directory viewer accounts until you ask us to delete them, and one-time sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. After 13 months we delete the browser identifier, city, and network organization from analytics records, keeping only aggregate statistics. We keep Directory reports and requests as long as needed to handle them and keep a record of the outcome.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, including encrypted connections, access controls that limit database access to server-side code, and signed session cookies. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to delete your Directory viewer account, by emailing us.
- You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and ask us to stop contacting you about an inquiry at any time.
- If you represent a listed company, you can ask us to correct or remove its listing (see our Terms).
- Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights: to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to delete or correct it; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We will verify requests as the law allows, and you may use an authorized agent.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and version number, and where required, we will give additional notice.
