Borrowing Base Calculator
Asset-based lenders typically advance a set percentage of your accounts receivable and inventory rather than lending against cash flow. Enter your balances below to estimate that capacity — every calculation runs locally in your browser.

How the borrowing base is calculated
Borrowing base = 85% of your accounts receivable balance plus 50% of inventory at cost — a common advance-rate formula asset-based lenders use, separate from a cash-flow-based (DSCR) approach. Actual advance rates vary by lender, industry, and the quality/aging of your receivables and inventory; this is a starting-point estimate, not a lender's actual formula.
Equipment value is shown at an estimated orderly-liquidation value (80% of market value) for reference; it is not included in the borrowing-base total above since equipment-secured advances are typically structured separately.
The calculation itself runs entirely in your browser -- the specific figures you enter are never transmitted to BizyFi, except that the "Get your full pre-qualification estimate" button below carries the amount you entered into the application form's URL so you don't have to type it twice. To save re-entering the same numbers across calculators, your AR/inventory/equipment/loan-amount figures are also saved in your own browser's local storage and reused on BizyFi's other calculators -- this never leaves your browser and you can clear it anytime with the "Clear saved numbers" link that appears when a field has been pre-filled. Separately, we log anonymous usage analytics (that this page was viewed, or that a button was clicked) to see which calculators are useful -- never the numbers you type.
